Sucker Rod Guide is designed to reduce abrasion between sucker rod and tubing, which is very important to protect both sucker rod and tubing. Some oil wells are not vertical, and it is easy to make abrasion between sucker rod and tubing when the sucker rod in the bent part of the sucker rod string. If the sucker rod guide is installed on the sucker rod in the bent part of the string, the abrasion will be between guide and tubing, but the material of guide is nylon or PPA, which is soft and high plasticity, so it can protect both sucker rod and tubing.
